I am Polish by origin and have been living in Ireland for over 20 years. Sailing has been my passion for many years, and I have gained extensive experience in ocean and Mediterranean sailing. I have sailed the waters of Western Europe and North-West Africa, both cruising and competing in sailing races. I have taken part in regattas in Ireland, sailing with clubs in Howth and Greystones, as well as with the Polish Racing Team in Dun Laoghaire. I am the proud owner of a classic 1967 Moody Halberdier36, which I completely restored and brought back to life as a sailing yacht. Restoring and sailing a classic boat has been a hugely rewarding experience and has deepened my appreciation for traditional yacht design and craftsmanship. I am a graduate of the Maritime Training Academy in the UK and hold a Yacht & Small Craft Surveying qualification. I also run my own yacht and small craft surveying business. For me, sailing is much more than a hobby — it is a way of life. It brings together my passion for the sea, my love of classic yachts, my technical interests and the constant challenge of learning and exploring new waters.
